The Class of 1959 held their 50th reunion on Saturday, October 17, 2009 at Stimac’s Restaurant in Hillside, following a Mass at Divine Infant Church and a tour of Divine Infant School.

The Class of 1979 held their 30th reunion on Saturday, September 19, 2009 at Giordano’s Restaurant in Westchester, following a Mass at Divine Infant Church.  Below are pictures (provided by Steve Calabrese and Diane Werth Black) from the event.

   

 

Attention All Divine Infant Alumni, Friends and Family!

With over 500 in attendance, the 1st All-School Alumni Reunion Event in 2008 was a huge success!  We are pleased to announce that the 2nd All-School Alumni Reunion Event has been scheduled for Saturday, June 5, 2010.  The event will begin with Mass at Divine Infant Church at 5:00 p.m., with the reception (school tours, cocktails, dinner, entertainment, etc.) immediately following at the school in Langan Hall (a.k.a. Rainbow Room), the gymnasium and outside tents.  This event gives alumni the chance to reconnect with each other and provides the opportunity to give back to the school that gave them so much. Please mark your calendars! 

Some additional programs and events sponsored by the Alumni Committee that are in the planning stages include a Scholarship Fund, a New Alumni Welcome, an Alumni Newsletter, a Trivia Night at D. I., an Alumni, Friends and Family Pool Party, and a “Bringing Back Theater to D. I.” production.

The Alumni Committee will meet on Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. in Langan Hall at D. I. to begin working on the plans for the reunion event.  We welcome any help you can offer, however, if you are unable to attend but would like to participate in the planning of this event, please contact Pam Kouimelis at 708.343.6240, Jean Hernal at 708.865.1941 or Cathy Kulnig at 708.516.2696.

The connections that begin at Divine Infant School extend far beyond graduation. Through the Alumni Committee, you can reconnect with former classmates and friends, enjoy special gatherings, and participate in events that build the Divine Infant network and continue to celebrate our traditions.  Alumni and friends can become involved in Divine Infant today!
