CSC (Caring School Community)

CSC is the Divine Infant version of a student council. CSC meets 3 or 4 times a month, on Tuesdays. We work on service projects, fun activities, and problem solving. We are sponsored by Youth Initiative, part of the Community Memorial Foundation. This is a student-driven organization. Members are 4th through 8th grade. Basic plans are decided by the Leadership Team - 6th through 8th grade volunteers. Class representatives (also volunteers) make up the rest of the group. Projects we have worked on include on ongoing poptop collection for the Ronald McDonald House, adopting a Catholic school in New Orleans to "adopt" and working to set up a school store. DISPA (Divine Infant School Parent Association)

The goal of DISPA is to act as a liaison between our school and its families. DISPA promotes parent-school activities, such as room mothers, school volunteers and other service related projects. This organization provides social, educational and religious opportunities for our families. Membership is open to teachers and to the parents and guardians of our students. All are encouraged to participate.
